The Young Cattlemen's Council (YCC), a subsidiary of the Canadian Cattlemen's Association, welcomes beef enthusiast from across Canada between the ages of 18-40. The vision of the Young Cattlemen’s Council is to cultivate youthful leadership by exposing YCC delegates to industry policy development, while giving them opportunities to gain experience and bring fresh ideas to the Canadian Cattlemen’s Association and Canadian beef cattle industry. The Council also strives to be a conduit of information between industry organizations and the youth of the beef industry.

  • General membership is open to individuals ages 18-40 passionate about the beef industry.
  • The YCC Board is made up of nine delegates; six Provincial Representatives and three Members at Large.
  • Delegates have the opportunity to serve on Canadian Cattlemen’s Association Committees as non-voting members to gain experience and provide a youthful perspective on industry issues.
