The vision of the Young Cattlemen’s Council (YCC) is to cultivate youthful leadership by exposing elected members to industry policy development, while giving them opportunities to gain experience and bring fresh ideas to the Canadian Cattlemen’s Association and Canadian beef cattle industry. The Council also strives to be a conduit of information between industry organizations and the youth of the beef industry.
- Membership is open to individuals, ages 18 to 40, passionate about the beef industry.
- The YCC Board is comprised of six elected Provincial Representatives and three elected Members at Large.
- The nine Delegates on the YCC Board have the opportunity to serve on Canadian Cattlemen’s Association Committees as non-voting members to gain experience and provide a youthful perspective on industry issues.
